Flying Foxes - A.K.A.:The World's Largest Bats

Yes, they can be found here in Sydney. More specifically, in the Botanical Gardens. And for some reason, it is just kinda hard to tear yourself away from them - weird, I know. These particular bats only feed on nectar, blossom, pollen, and fruit. Their wing span is about 3 feet. They make the loudest chittering sound, and have a funky smell. Since it is October, here are some bat photos.
